I AM A NURSE
I walk through those doors with pride,
Who's life will i save today?
Someone is waiting for me,
Someone is alive today because of my duty.
Sometimes we cry cause we can't save them all,
God sometimes won't let us interfere when HE calls.
A baby's first breath when he looks at me,
The joy of my first delivery.
The tear i wipe a way with my own hands,
The life ending of a gentle old man.
The night seems so dark and the morning so bright.
Being a nurse you see life in a different light.
Who will i save tonight?
Who will hold my hand during their last breath with no fright?
Who will enter this world on my shift?
How many mothers will greet their babies with a kiss?
I don't know who these special people are
but i will meet them with every call
I will hold them tight and help the pain
I will hold them up when they feel faint.
I will be strong when i am needed
That is my job, I am a nurse..that is my duty.

I myself is not afraid on my coordinators but what i can say is that other fellow students don't know how and when to approach properly the coordinator. to me the academic and clinical coordinators are both skilled and knowledgeable C.I. plus know how to apply their attitudes in respective places and time. Please continue be approachable at times ma'am. God Bless us all.
I think most of the students (86% of the total nursing population) are afraid with their coordinators because they have an “AFRAID” personality…
AVAILABLE, they are always available when you need them, they are always there to guide and light your path if you get “BLIND” with wrong doings.
FRANK, if they don’t like you or your rotten attitude, in less than 0.99 seconds you will be hearing their electrifying! Comments!
REALITY guardian, they “zap” you back! into reality if you get “LOST”
ALERT, be careful with what you say or do... for they have the ears and eyes of a bat, the nose of a K-9, and the speed of a light. “pag BAD ka! LAGOT ka!”
INTELLIGENT, you don’t need to surf the internet or go to the library if they are your C.I, coz you learn a “LOT” your 125MB brain capacity will be expanded into 8G.
DANGEROUS when mad, Never ever MESS! with them, coz you aint gona like it when they get mad. just incase you made the wrong move, Just HOLD ON TIGHT and say your prayers... ( he..he..).
But then I guess you can never really tell how people see you. Sometimes, who you think you are comes out differently to other people. It’s something we already know, that self perception is different with everyone else’s. but most often we neglect that fact.
Honestly I am "AFRAID" to my coordinators
but this feeling of "FEAR" guide me or motivated me to study more for my own sake and be a better student on their sight.Being afraid is just one of thousands attitudes that we must possess to handle our journey in life safe and enlighten my path up to the end.I want you to understand that in making up my mind i will never forget those "FOODS FOR THE THUOGHT" that i have learned from you.
Even i can't express myself well in english, i hope you could understand my heartfelt acknowledgement. I am grateful to all of you my dearest CI's and COORDINATOR's.Stay who you are and be what you are today. GOD BLESSED YOU ALL.
some of my clasmates reacted with my comment.... they say.. "hey.. sip sip..." well pipz.. there is a big difference betwn. "sip sip" and beeing "TrUE"... want an example? well.. my dear classmates you are a GOOD and SOLID!! example.. of the word sip sip!! i am just beeing true, with what is on my minD. why not HeArT?... bcoz i often use it...
I know my self "better" than you Do,,..well you have all the right to discriminate me but you don't have the right to "jUdGe" me.. bcoz only GoD can..

ALL I CAN SAY ,BEFORE,I REALLY HATE MA'AM OTENG.. WE HAD A HUGE FIGHT....ALL NASTY WORDS ARE SPOKEN..BUT YOU KNOW I SECRETLY SENT HER A SORRY CARD AND AFTERWARDS WE'RE FRIENDS...JUST LIKE NOTHING HAPPENS..
REMEMBER THEY ARE ALSO PEOPLE..ALMOST FED UP..GETTING BURN OUT..GETTIN OUT OF CONTROL AND EXHAUSTED...
IF THEY KNOW THAT
YOURE GETTIN "WINDANG" ON THEM,LALO KA NILANG WIWINDANGIN....
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHHA!
BUT THEY ARE GOOD PEOPLE WITH GOOD HEART AND THEY TOUCH MY LIFE IN SO MANY WAYS..
JUST LET THEM SHATTER YOUR SHELLS...
