1. What is a clinical nurse leader?
For me, clinical nurse leader is a good role model, he/she have the ability to influence others most specially his/her followers. She/he know how to improve the quality of patient care and how to best prepare nurses with the competencies needed to thrive in the current and future health care system.
The Clinical Nurse Leader provides and manages care. The Clinical Nurse Leader designs, implements and evaluates care by coordinating, supervising and delegating to members of the healthcare team. The Clinical Nurse Leader puts evidence-based practice into action to ensure that patients benefit from the latest innovations in the delivery of care.
2. What does a clinical nurse leader do?
A clinical nurse leader puts evidence-based practice into action to ensure that patients benefit from the latest innovations in care delivery. It also collects and evaluates patient’s outcomes and has the decision-making authority to change care plans when necessary. The clinician functions as part of an interprofessional team by communicating, planning and implementing care directly with other health care professionals, including physicians, pharmacist, social workers, clinical nurse specialists and nurse practitioners.
3. Is the clinical nurse leader needed in the health care system?
Yes, a clinical nurse leader is very much needed in the health care system because a CNL facilitate and organize in a clinical setting. Furthermore, a CNL is responsible in recruiting health car provider with appropriate education and experience, personal characteristics and self- selection inorder to provide proper health care to patients.
4.How is a CNL different form a nurse specialist or other advance practice nurse?
A Clinical Nurse Leader functions as an advanced generalist, responsible for clinical care outcomes for multiple specialties on one unit.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist functions as a nursing specialist, responsible for clinical outcomes for specialty populations, across units.
The Clinical Nurse Leader may call on the Clinical Nurse Specialist to provide consultation when a specialist area of concern arises. The CNL brings a high level of clinical competence and knowledge to the point of nursing care and serves as a resource for the health care team. The Clinical Nurse Leader works with the multidisciplinary care team to provide quality care, and is responsible administratively to the Nurse Manager or equivalent.
Clinical Nurse Leader is the one who plans for the goal for patients recovery while he or she is in the hospital and most important he must be a registered nurse. They have the capabilities and enough skill to improve patients condtion. They also divide the work of every worker for designation in the area. As a nurse leader you should supervise your workers in oreder for them to meet their goals for the patient. A nurse leader is needed in the health care system because they have a significant role. It is different from clinical nurse specialist because CNS are the ones who are expertise on their field like OR nurses, they have graduated their masters degree and has wide horizon in the field of nursing.

M-motivator- the ability to give hope.Verbaly encouraged others, and convay belief and support others.
A-affirmation-the ability to build up colleagues.
3.Absolutely yes, they are one of the most important people in health care setting.In the health care system, his/her CHARISMAtic LEADERship will infuence others and they will follow his lead in achieving the OPTIMUM NURSING CARE for patients.
4.Clinical Nurse Leader are "CHARISMA tic" leader and tend to unified Health Care Team in rendering OPTIMUM care for the sick(patient).they do supervising and have a broadmind also. While Clinical Nurse Specialist are just dependent on thier specialization or field of expertise and never been expose to other clinical areas which requires greater and broader knowledge.

In every rotation that I have experience. I’ve learn a lot how to became alert in terms of giving medication to my patient. I experience also to become more friendly into my patient and I learned how to become patience when they are moody. Every duty I gain more confident to be able to my responsibility as a student nurse. Time management is very important for me. We don’t need to become confuse if there is an error or mistake. Because that is the way for you to learned.
Group mates
We helping each other particularly when we are in duty. Sharing some ideas, knowledge. If one we are tired and we feel toxic. We encourage to become chill or relax. We treating each other as a brother and sister and we give respect to each other.
