Health belief's of a parents affects the health care of a child with genitourinary disease because of their unawareness regarding the disease and specially their belief's that they had gather from their ancestors. So it is very important to us as student nurse to approach them in a nice way that they could understand what we are trying to imply like the right wat on how to avoid or treat genitourinary disease.Because they are lack of knowledge,we need to explain how and why the child develop such disease. For example, the patient is suffering from itchiness and as their belief's they would advised their kid to put vinegar on the genitourinary area what they dont know, this thing could destruct the normal PH of the genitourinary and it would find a way so that bacteria would invade it and multiply causing a complication of genitiurinary disease. So we really need to stress the importance of good hygiene or the propper way of treating the disease thet occur. We really need to tell to the parents that there is no wrong in believing on the belief's of their ancestor but if could alter health then why not try a modern way of trearment like using soap and water on the vaginal area everyday, hot sitz bath, and a medication that has been ordered by a physician like antibiotic.
The wrong belief's of the parents really affect to a child with genitourinary disease,it is expected that it may lead to a wrong treatment.More parents have health belief's the aware specific cultural values, norms, and practices regarding heath and illnes so as a health care provider must be responsive to many cultural cues present in daily nursing situition.aconcious effort should be made to become knowledgeable about diversity so that cues will be more meaningful and will be incorporated into patient assessment in care and also should aware in cultural belief affect how a family perceive, experiences and copes with health and illness also health care provider should be aware of the beliefs of the popular, domain of health care avilable to the client as well as the accepted views so that discrepancies can be discussed and resolved.knowledge of the cultural beliefs pt. will assist in understandig behavior that may seem negative, health care provider should knowledgeable of cultural attemp to understand their values while working in giving guide lines. it is essential to know how the family unit is culturally defined.so explain for the influence of their beleif so that the proper care and treament will occur by the patient.
The health beliefs of the parents really affect the care and treatment to a child who is suffering from genitourinary. If their beliefs are superstitious and not scientifically leased, it may lead to a wrong treatment.Beliefs should be avoided because it only makes the illness worse. The child is reffered to a quack doctor instead of a certified and expert doctor. The child will be given wrong medicine and treatment if health beliefs are more instensified. It is better, that the child must be check up by an expert doctor so that the child will be prescribed about the medicines that he/she should take in.The parents should avoid the wrong health beliefs. It is their responsibility to care the health of their child/children.They have to be health conscious.Responsible of the parents to provide good health to their children by providing abundant foods ,cleanliness for the safety of the child and teaching them the right caring of their selves. How they do if they care know what is real because of their belief.
The health beliefs of the parents will affect the heath care and treatment to the child with genitourinary, because parent are very concerned with the health of their child, thats why sometimes they refuse the management given to them, with regard of that belief, they dont know the importance given by the health care provider, thats why the child disease becomes more complicated. Being a health care provider, we give them the best advise so that they widen their knowledge about proper giving care of the patient, for example the child feel pain during urination, the parents belief they just drink plenty of hot water then the pain will remove but they dont know that the child has the disease. Insted to have check up or consult to the doctor, they refer it to the QUACK doctors. With regards with that situation the disease acquired by the child become more complicated. We advised the parents that they better consult the doctor for management and treatment, and taking of antibiotics.
Many of us had different health beliefs. This health beleifs are commonly preacticed by our parents and ancestors. The beliefs of the parents affects the health care of a child with genitourinary disease. The parents are usally lack of knowledge regarding the health of their child. The student nurse must approach the families in a way that you dont have to change their beliefs.Like for example, the parents usually approach quack doctors when the child had circumcision and the child developed an infection because of aseptical technique that are used by quack doctors in circumcision. The student nurse must expain to the parents why the child developed an infection, stressed the importance of proper hygiene by proper cleaning using soap and water and application of betadine solution and go for consultation so tyhe doctor may prescribed medication like antibiotic. Also, explain to the parents we cannot avoid such beliefs but we must know this will affect our health so one must consider the right approach to have a healthy lifestyle.
Parents has a big role in maintaning health to their children, it means that the health of a child depends on the belief and attitude of their own parents.
Through their belief, child with problem of genitourinary might be cured or symptoms will be relieved or it might even become worst or aggreviate. For example if parents believe in medicine practices like this: Urinary tract infections are usually treated with antibiotics such as ampicillin or sulfisoxazole that the entire coarse of medication should be taken, even if symptoms subdside after few days. Through their positive belief will move them in to following instructions that will benefit their child to be cured.

Everyperson likes to be healty, and every family wants to be happy. These two are reciprocal, for health influence happiness, and our happiness influence our health. God desires the health and happiness of every family. But to receive this wonderful gift of God if our parents has supertitious belief that they implememted to honed their children by insisting their knowledge and experiences. Genitourinary refers to the genital and urinary system of the body, either the organ structures and functions or both. M any problem occuring in genitourinary because of the lifestyle, hygiene, and diet. Sadly many Filipino untill now choose first the quack doctor for their cosultation and make atang-atang. they took different herbal meds, (liquid, leaves)Maybe a couple of hours the problems able to relieve but it work for more complications. as a student nurse were having responsibility to discuss about the disease, the treatment, prevention and complication.. helped them to face the reality to opend their mind in the truth.Parents who are knowledgeable, oriented about what is right mostly who are educated and have ability to send their child in the clinic or hospital to prevent further complications.
Health beliefs of the parents affect the care and treatment of of child with genitourinary disease because child is easy to be persuaded by parent. Like for example, if a child has menstrual period the parents belief toward on that as their practice it will be applied to you, if her parent said that it is wrong to take a bath, then a child will follow because they are easily to be persuade and they know that parents knows what is best for them, instead it is right to take a bath eventhough you have menstruation you compel not to take a bath which result to unproper hygiene and she does not even wash her genital properly and it may cause infection due to poor hygienic..That's why we nurses must teach the parents, with lack of knowledge on proper hygiene, stress the importance of proper hygiene that leads to good health...
Parents has an important to their children. They believe that they know what is best for their children. Some mothers depend on "albularyos" idea or way of treating the disease of their children. But in our field a child with problems in genitourinary must be treatened by antibiotics properly ordered by physicians. Further explanation the importance of drug regiment to the mother is much needed. Iniate that the health problem of her child is easier and sures to cure or prevent is complying the physicians order.
health beliefs of the parents can really affect the care and treatment to a child with genitourinary problems sometimes parents has many belief that is not right for us who are health providers, they have now enough sources and knowledge about what is really the appropriate management on it. and because of their beliefs the problems will be complicated. All they thought that their beliefs are more effective than scientific treatment. As a student nurse i must explain and clarify to the parents the proper way on how to do the right management.I will emphasize to them the disadvantages of thier beliefs so that they realize they are wrong in their beliefs.
Health beliefs of the parents is a big problem that affect the health of a person especially in a child. Like the parents that lack of knowledge sometimes instead they go to the doctor they go to the (albularyo).
Another problem that cause genitourinary is lack of proper hygiene especially in the children they are fun of playing they dont knoe that they are full of microorganisms. So we need to guide them and proper health care.
Oue beliefs is came from our ancestors but most of this values and norms are believes more in urban area. So we need to explain them carefully in the way that we did not offend them exlpain to them why we need to apply our therapeutic regimen.
filipino people have a different beliefs especially in regards to our health and in this belief of our parents the health care affects to their child with genitourinary disease and as we the student nurse we should approach them in a nice way to understand on how to treat the genitourinary disease.for example we should advised to them during the menstrual period of their daugther, give them advised to wash always with soap or a feminine wash, and also advised them to take a bath everyday because taking a bath is not bad to our health even you have a menstrual period.but off course we should also respect what are the belief of their parents but we should explain to them what will be the disadvantages if we do not immediately cure the genitourinary disease and they should always after the health of their parents not to their beleif
we,as a filipinos we really beleives that sometimes our practices were good for us. Sometimes, those beleifs lead us to trouble. As a student nurse we have a great role in providing health taechings to the parents of children with genitourinary disease for we all know that children are really hard to manage. Consulting a physician is the best way to treat them in order for them to provide the necessary drugs od the appropriate drugs for their child. The rest are health teaching taht could surely help them to make the patient's condition better. the lack of knowledge can make the patient's condition can't say what they feel inside.Believing in wrong beliefs could lead their children even to death.
As we all know that health beliefs of a parents theres a big affects in terms of health care of a child with a genitourinary disease. We accept the reality that a parents are has a big role in terms of caring their child even though their beliefs are wrong or correct....in that case,we, as a student nurse has a great responsibilty to give them a health teachings regarding with a genitourinary disease on "HOW" or "WHAT MAY" the possible effects of their beliefs in in terms of their child health care treatment......
Maintaining a healthy life is an important factor to every individual regardless of ages and genders. When talking about health, here comes within the beliefs on the practices of individuals on how they perceive in regards to this.As a care provider,it is important to assess their differing beliefs regarding health,it is our responsibility to evaluate each if it medically accepted or not. When rendering care and treatment to child with genitourinary disease having parents who has belief on treating the disease,it then comes the vital role of being an effective care provider in his or her own technique. Moreover, the beliefs of the parents will affect the teatment regimen and care on the child which then adheres to it.That the child will not be given the necessary treatment he or she must receive and it may fall to complications due to lack of treatment on the occuring disease the child has.
we all know that every filipino have different belief especially regards in our health.Because of the wrong beliefs of some parents regarding the health of a child have genitourinary disease they dont know there's is a big problem or affect in terms of health care and treatment of the disease.being a student nurse we must educate and give our responsibility and also we must render our healht teaching regarding how to treat or prevent the disease. We must advised and encouraged the parents to practice proper hygiene. As a student nurse we must respect the belief of the parents but we need to discuss them the disadvantages of practicing wrong beliefs in terms of health because of that belief's the problem it will lead complicated.
We accept that Filipinos have different beliefs regarding many things around them. But sometimes these beliefs may cause a bad effect instead of good. There are certain health beliefs like in women, most of the parents are advising their children which having menstruation not to take a shower or bath because this may cause psychosis which is not really proven but many individuals are still following this thing even it’s not good for the proper care of their genitourinary system.
I think that the wrong health beliefs of parents really affects the care & treatment for children with genitourinary disorders in the way that the proper procedures in handling these children are destructed. As student nurses we should approach and discuss with the patient especially their parents the correct way of taking care of their child in order to have a successful treatment and not to inflict harm.
the belief of the old folks of parents counts a lot in carring of the child who has a genitourinary.
The treatment is "do ot sit anywhere that seems to be hot", place a cold water on the navel and its just go awa
The treatment of th old folks or thier believes did not cured genitourinary because it is a various types of the flank, back or upper abdomen may result n trauma to the kidney, urether, bladder.
Genitourinary or particularly renal trauma is often associated with other injuries to the abdominal organs such as:liver, colon, small intestine.
The goals of managemant in patient with genitourinary trauma is to assessed patient frequently during the first few days after injury to detect flank and abdminal, pain, muscle spasm and swelling over the flank, and also to controll hemorrhages, and infections;to preserve and restore renal function;and to maintain urinary drainage.in renal trauma, all urine is saved and sent into the laboratory for analysis to detect urea, potien or excess sodium. present in patient's urine

Nurses have the extensive roles in providing the most highest and standard care in every patient having alteration in genitourinary functions and this will be the primary benefit in the prevention of disease and promotion of health through medical management..Medical interventions will be encouraged and to be prioritized or an option by every parents, because this will be necessary and helpful to treat hundred percent to their underlying disease...
Many parents have many beliefs, beliefs that will actually affects health care and treament through medical management, many parents believes that their beliefs is more efficient and effective than medical interventions, because they are lack of knowledge and they are not aware, their outcome of treatment they have will bring rebound effect to their children, parent's beliefs is not a hundred percent curable effects, instead of preventing the disease the outcome of treament they implement will be the promotion of disease...Thus,this will be the reason why parents affects the care and treatment of childrens having problems with genitourinary functions..............
In the past, the health beliefs of the people are not depend on the medical practices their more beleives on old ways of treatment,That's why the healing process are gradual but, nowaday's the parent's are more relying on medical treatment because they more effective and proven. we all know that the medical treatment are using the method of sterile technique to prevent infection and complication. Parent's thought that medical treatment or the medical team know's the best for thier kids. Children's are very sensitive so that the medical team give them the best care and proper care, they know how to hadle. For me, base of my observation the parent's prefared go to hospital and depending to the medical treatment.
there is a big effects of the belief of the parents in child's genitourinary..bacause it may adhere or altered the madical services needed by a chid..most of the balief of the parents is only a myths or nat related to medical process..example a teenager suffured from severe pain in dysmenorrhea mostly some belief of the mother the patient most take a bath from the start of her menstration because the cold will accummulate in he head wich is not correct if scientific expalnation is involve..it is better to have proper hygiene and take a bath because water stimulate good blood circulation and soothes the pain of dysmenorrhea..another example if a patient is experiencing diffulty of urination instead of taking the patient into the the hospital to seek for medical care..parents often made some herbal medicine that sometimes its not applicable to the underlying disease of the patient..and also cause of complications bause of that belief...Goverment already made some actions to that particular problems..they sent medical practitioner that educate peolple to be aware and concious about giving proper health care..
We all know that parents have many health beliefs and practices that we adopt during our ancestors......why????????because at times technology was not modernized, so they rea
lly practice their beliefs in terms of treament in a certain disease. We cannot blame our parents that they have been use or applied until now even this is right or wrong..............in thaf case,we,as a student nurse has a great responsibility in doing a health teaching to them.We must explain the possible effects their beliefs in treating a genitourinary disease.............thats all and thasnk you!!!!!!!
As a nurse we should rspect the superstitious beliefs of our elder. But nterms ofhealth belief, we should correct them especially in genitourinay function. There were health beliefs of our older interms of this, like dont take a bath iwhen a woman has a mens. the other beliefs are dont wash the perineal area if a woman has ongoing menstruation.one of our task is to trust their beliefs, but we can teach them or to show them that they were wrong.one of our teachings is to show the importance of properprsonal hygiene. we can alo show them the truth where in there's no wrong or there's no complication for the women if they have their period. we can also teach them some proper health teachings if the woman has a period, like she should take a bath to eliminmate bacterialinfections in genito urinary tract. In washing perineal area, the equipments to be used are water, soap and they can also used antisceptic formula like betadine sol'n and PH care. in this process we can gradually change their beliefs.
Most of the parents have many wrong beliefs in their life that they it since they were in their childhood that really affect the treatment and care of their child with genitourinary disease.First caused is their culture, values in life, norms, and practices they have. Some say no one will lose from them if they try it.Others have faith in superstitious beliefs that really affect sometimes to the treatment and care of a child.Instead they will have their strong faith with GOD that He created doctors to cure and lessen the illnesses of the people, they go to different healers like "albularyos" to cure them.As a student nurse we need to approach and advised them to how and what they will gonna do regarding this disease. How they will manage therapeutic regiment, to maintain proper hygiene and sanitation, and lifestyle.Ask them about previous problems with genitourinary infection, their treatment or complications that they must aware and know the complications of the disease.
On the early days their health beliefs somehow are the main source or the factor that could serve as their last resources that typically would lessen their anxiousness of whatever be the possible effect of the illnessess they have suffered. And one of their belief is that when the occurence of any obstruction on their urination, one of the method they have apply is the used of any fruitjuices like the coconut which according to them are the most effective remedies in curing their problem which in fact that it is also applicable but early consultation on the health providers is the best way to prevent the possible complication of the problem that took so long to be treated by their beliefs. So counseling is the better way when it comes for the health which should be the health especialist........
In regarding on the health beliefs of the parents affects the care and treatment provided to a child with problems in genitourinary, the emptying of the bladder is a reflex action.between age 2-years, the child is able to hold the urine in the bladder and learns to urinate voluntarily. and in terms of treatment, the child may be treated with antibiotics (usually sulfisoxazole or ampicillin) at home. medication must be continued after symptoms disappear. an intravenous pyelogram or ultrasunographic study may be performed to assess the poisibility of structure defects if the child has recurring infections. the family caregivers are the key people in helping prevent recurring infections.
*Family teaching tips*
-change infant diaper when soiled, and clean body with mild soap and water, dry completely.
-teach child to wash hands before and after going to the toilet
Health beleifs of the parents sometimes might cause or risking their children lives because isn't good or just lead to harmfull way which further added the burdens that child may suffer for.So the possible or the most effectve way to promote health when there are certain problems that affective the effectiveness of life is that one should engage with the health basis that health providers defends upon.................................................................
Rendering appropriate health treatment and management to a child is the most important thing to be achieved during motherhood. Although there a many factors that can affect it, this should not be a hindrance that can cause severity to illnesses. Beliefs, Superstitious and myths are not so reliable in health management in our modern days now. In earlytimes, treatments on illnesses has not enough evidences to prove that its really curative. Its only based on facts with unreliable resources.
As a mother, knowledge on proper treatment and proper management is the biggest factor that can affect the child`s condition. It can be constructive or destructive as well. In a way, health condition of a child should be taken for granted. No treats or errors should be made. Child are very sensitive and has feeble immune system. They can get diseases from a direct or indirect contact. Parents should have ample and capacious knowledge on genito urinary development. A mere fact or baseless management and beliefs should be applied. This will cause more infection and complicationto the child. The best thing to do when you encountered a usual changes, altered internal and external appearance, complaint a pain/discomfort in genitourinary function, A licensed pediatrician should be the first person you have to confede with your child`s problem..Not the rumors myths and irrelevant beliefs that we all know can cause more diseases to a child.
There are only two effects of parent’s health belief on treating and managing genitourinary problems. One is the child with genitourinary problem would be treated and manage well by a well trained and educated and license health practitioners of the state. Second is the child with genitourinary problem will not be treated or manage well that a high percent that would lead to different complication that will end on early death of the child.
the affect would be devastating... the pseudolifestyle of the parents will be corrected if they will follow and take wholeheartedly. super powerful encouragement and examples will be i think the best way to change their lifestyle. good discussion and proper health care that would not get the parents offended is athink should us health care provided would do. it will help them widen their false beliefs to change. their hygiene, diets and do's and dont. also setting myself as an example as the product of the nonbeliever the grows healthy both physically and mentally.thank you and God bless us all!
beliefs of parents is hard to change the way to care thier siblings as student nurse lets try or do the rigth way taking care of child have genitourinary. more of parents still beliefs in traditional ways of caring with genitourinary some of those are not right by taking or using of herbals and synthetic meds which can not prevent the problem in genitourinary. we encounter this at the community so we do emerssion we share our knowledge, health teaching for the right way of caring. Teach the parent especially in diet should be maintain minerals of the body of child and minimal intake of food with chemical contain , daily lifestyle of thier siblings and those traditional beliefs of caring the child some not right tell the parent and explain the rationale and effects to the child.
Early genitourinary symptoms or problems in men may not be brought to the family physician's attention unless direct questions are asked to assess sexual and urinary function. Common genitourinary health issues in men include prostatitis, benign prostatic hyperplasia, urogenital cancer, premature ejaculation and erectile dysfunction. Screening questions directed at identifying these health problems should be included in the comprehensive health evaluation.
