ANNOUNCEMENT # 1

No Classes in Pharmacology tomorrow, May 5, 2008. We will resume on Tuesday, 5/6/08

Blog 1:

I have been away for 3 days for a little bit of R & R with my bestfriend who is also my ex-boyfriend, and presently my roommate, my husband Reggie.

oooooooooopppsss. actually, i went to Manila for the renewal of contract with San lazaro hospital and to make arrangements for the preceptorship training of our two CIs, Mam Maricel and Mam Nora...

after my official duties, we had a little bit of rest and relaxation. We stayed at a low-cost, but nice and cozy apartelle located in Quezon City, along west avenue... we sampled foods of different variety... chinese, japanese, korean, filipino, american, .... and we enjoyed it. It was really a learning experience for me. Then at night, we went bar-hopping and just enjoyed the show. no alcoholic beverage for me (my roommate does not like it when I drink)...

continuation of my R & R will be posted soon...

ciao...

Ma'am pahabol naman please....

I was so excited but nervous on the day of our return demo. It was very painful.
I did'nt perform it perfectly but it was fulfilling that I was able to experienced it and next time I can do it on a right way.
I just performed the way they taught us because it was proven effective.
It is very significant to undergo with training as a student nurse to be more aware and to apply it on the real patient with the proper way.
To those patient who don't cooperate, I should get first their trust to comply to the procedure and I will explain to them their benefits if they will cooperate.
Ma'am please accept my comments. Thank you so much ma'am!!!God bless You!!!!

I was so nervous in the return demo. Because we use distilled water and it was too painful. what they taught to me before I will do the return demo, I just performed it. I done well and it was perfect. I insert IV,IM and ID in one shot only. I'm very happy because I did not cry, before in RLE 2, we done IM and ID under ma'am ashley and ma'am thressa and in that time i cry because it's to painful. it's a big pleasure to you ma'am because you teach us on how to insert IV in that thank you very much ma'am. Reminder: before you do a insertion, first explaine to the patient what you are going to do and what medicine will you give. that's all ma'am..... godbless... thank you.....

Having a return demo is very important to us as a nursing student, so that we do it perfectly or to do it in the right way.
During our return demo, we all know that all of us will feel nervous. but we try our best to do it. It is also important for having trust and cooperate with each other. In IV insertion I didn't performed perfectly because I didn't hit in the first I insert. But I was very happy because I experience it.
Thank you ma'am for having more knowledge. I've learned a lot from you. Thank you for the time and cooperation you shared from us..... I hope we will passed pharmacology... thanks a lot ma'am...

I feel so excited yet nervous in the return demo. It was very painful specially when my partner did not hit the vein and she do it again. But I was so thankful because atleast we've got the idea on how the proper insertion.

In the return demo we apply what we learned in PHC 2 because the tecnique they taught us is th same so we done it perfectly. though it's very hard but as we go along with the demo it's so happy. Even if the score is not perfect but atleast we've learned and got idea. This would be one of my unforgetable experience. My summer became worthwhile... Thank you ma'am for spending summer with us.. And ofcourse thank you for the idea and knowledge you've shared..... godbless

hi,maam ahm about the return demo,i was so very thankful it is because you tought us the proper way of administering drug, what is the right route and so far.well, in having return demo it is very important to have this,it because there is very big different bet. oral from an actual activity, so that is the one importance and advantage of having a return demo,i was just very curious about that time.how it feels like when someone's injecting tour musles, feels like someone's hurting you, thats all sorry maam for being late....thank you for all the knowledge you've shared to us...thank you and more power and knowledge to come...wenzy

1)I was so nervuos yet excitted during the return demo because i want to test my practical ability in performing operations such as IV Insertion,in a fact that i want to learn more and improve my self for the benefit not only to my self but for the pt.,nervous bec.i am afraid to hurt, commit mistake that will put a bad feelings to my partner.
2)In 1-10 i can say that im in # 6,not perfect bec. i need to learn more and gain tactics.
3)no,I've done my part and i listened very carefully in every instructions.
4)It is very relevant bec.these are the basics needs to have a good foundation when we expose to clinical area.
5)Uncooperative pt.,I'll just show love in terms of care, gain his trust in order for me to perform the duty very well without any hindrance.

Thank you ma'am for being a nice teacher bec. ive learned, and all your thoughts is very helpfull in developing a good individual. THANK YOU MA'AM:
